We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager
📍 Bristol (Remote-first, with flexible working)
💰 £45–55k
You’re the person people trust when there’s a lot going on. You love turning ambitious ideas into clear plans and making sure the people, budgets, timelines and hundreds of little details come together brilliantly.
You’ll be at the heart of delivering some of our biggest client projects, working with Account Directors, strategists, creatives, facilitators and specialist partners to turn ideas into change that actually happens. You’ll own the rhythm and quality of delivery, creating a seamless experience for our clients and our team.
This role isn’t for everyone. You’ll manage multiple projects, priorities will change and being part of a small team means everyone gets stuck in. But if you get peculiar satisfaction from turning complexity into calm, making ambitious things happen and helping us design change that works and sticks, you’ll probably enjoy it here.
You are…
Your day-to-day could include:
Planning and managing multiple transformation and culture change projects simultaneously, from kick-off through to delivery.
Turning ambitious ideas and briefs into clear project plans, timelines, budgets and responsibilities.
Owning the day-to-day rhythm of delivery and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen, by when and why.
Acting as a key client contact throughout delivery, keeping clients informed, involved and confident.
Working in partnership with Account Directors, strategists and creatives to make sure delivery stays connected to the bigger client objective.
Coordinating internal teams, freelancers, facilitators, production partners and other specialists.
Managing budgets, resources and project profitability, spotting changes in scope before they become problems.
Anticipating risks and dependencies, raising them early and helping the team find solutions.
Owning the detail of the brief and quality-checking deliverables before they reach the client.
Keeping project documentation, actions, files and reporting organised and up to date.
Supporting the delivery of workshops, events and other experiences — sometimes remotely and sometimes in person.
Looking for smarter ways for us to work, helping improve our project management tools, processes and ways of collaborating as the agency grows.
What’s in it for you?
Starting salary of £45k–£55k
We believe in the concept of ‘know your worth’ and have yearly conversations where you can tell us how much you’re worth and why.
Flexible working
We work five days a week, but we work with flex to suit your lifestyle and energy. Communication is vital for this to work, so as long as we’re there for clients and each other when needed, the rest is up to you. Whether you run at lunch or like to nap, prefer early finishes or late starts, we’re flexible about what you need to do and when.
Remote-first working and home office set-up
You’ll receive a company Apple laptop, an optional work iPhone, a desktop display screen and accessories to set up your home office. We’re based all over the UK, so being comfortable in your work environment at home is essential to us. We also have an office in Bristol and regularly use co-working spaces if we’re based elsewhere.
Quarterly team get-togethers
Working remotely means we’re always looking to create moments to connect as a team in person. Every quarter, we get together to discuss the business and our personal experiences. Typically, these are in London, Bristol, Manchester or Birmingham, but occasionally somewhere slightly more adventurous.
£1,500 development fund
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, but you’ll also have £1,500 each year to invest in your continued learning and development. That might be an external course, coaching, an event or something else that helps you develop your skills and grow.
Unlimited holiday
Yes, we’ve seen all the chatter around this perk. But this isn’t a way of allowing anyone to take less holiday. We hold each other accountable for rest and recovery, with everyone expected to take at least 20 days plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown. Every day on top of that is up to you. We trust each other to manage our responsibilities and work in a way that allows us to live our lives and keep our energy in the green.
Private healthcare with Vitality
After six months, you’ll get access to health checks and lots more, including video GP appointments and mental health support. You can easily add family members to your plan for even more peace of mind, although fees apply. You can also enjoy rewards such as a free coffee every week, money off gym memberships, discounts on health tracker devices and gear, a free Headspace subscription, vouchers and cashback on food shopping.
Enhanced maternity pay
After being employed for 12 months, you’re entitled to enhanced maternity pay: 12 weeks at 100% pay, 12 weeks at 50% pay and 15 weeks at Statutory Maternity Pay.
And a few other things
Birthday off, Cycle to Work scheme, annual bonus if we do well, performance reviews, Christmas shutdown, summer and Christmas parties — plus all the usual legal stuff, including a company pension.
Who we are
We’re a small, ambitious team helping organisations turn strategy and transformation into change people can understand, get behind and actually do.
We work from the people-up, combining strategy, creativity and an understanding of human behaviour to tackle complex business challenges and create better experiences at work. That might mean activating a new strategy, changing behaviours, developing leaders, shifting culture or creating a movement inside an organisation that people genuinely want to be part of.
Our work happens inside organisations rather than on billboards, but its impact can reach thousands of people. We work with big brands you’ll know, and some brilliant businesses you might not, helping them make meaningful change happen.
We’re growing, which means joining us now isn’t simply about filling a role. You’ll get close to the business, have a voice in how we develop, and help shape what The Culture Club becomes next.
Sound like you?
We’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a short paragraph explaining why we should talk to you to careers@wearethecultureclub.co.uk.
